If no specific memories are chosen the target gains the Amnesia Condition and the Forgotten Skill Condition for a skill of the Arisen's choice. Mortals suffer a breaking point with a - 2 penalty while targetted Arisen suffer a Memory Gap. Once a chapter has passed, lost memories return. Ren: With Ren Pillar Rating of 3 or higher, the Arisen may replace forgotten memories with new ones, giving the target the False Memories Condition. If the target had all their memories removed, the Arisen can convince the target that they are another individual, changing the target's Virtue and Vice, and giving them Ren dots in relevant skills for the chapter.

Mortals caught in the storm must succeed on a Resolve roll - the Arisen's Sheut or gain the Madness Condition for Sekhem days. Supernatural beings and Mortals who succeed gain the Shaken Condition. The Arisen must be outside to use this Utterance and is immune to these effects. As a Death Curse, the storm inflicts the Ominous Condition on the Arisen's killers.
